Terms of Service
Welcome to NovelCast. These Terms form an agreement between you and NovelCast (“we,” “us”) regarding use of the NovelCast website, mobile applications, and related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
NovelCast offers access to comic-style dramas and short series and related features, produced or assisted with AI from novel and other textual sources. Some features may require an account, payment, or may be limited by region. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service and will give reasonable notice when changes materially affect you.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information and safeguard your credentials. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
3. Content & intellectual property
- Software, branding, UI, and materials we or our licensors provide are protected by intellectual property laws.
- Rights in AI-assisted output may be governed by separate terms or law. Without written permission, you may not use the Service to train third-party AI models, scrape content at scale, or circumvent technical protections.
- You may not upload or share content that infringes others’ copyrights, trademarks, privacy, or other rights.
4. AI-generated content & disclaimer
Generated visuals, dialogue, or plot may differ from source novels and are not professional advice. You are responsible for judging suitability. We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: break the law; harass others; distribute malware; interfere with the Service; attempt unauthorized access; create false accounts; resell access; or commit fraud. We may warn, restrict, or terminate accounts for violations.
6. Paid features
If we offer purchases or subscriptions, pricing, billing cycles, and refunds follow in-app disclosure and Apple/Google platform rules. Subscriptions may auto-renew until you cancel in platform settings.
7. Third parties
The Service may link to or integrate third-party sites or SDKs. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices—read their terms and policies.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or the minimum allowed by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limits apply only as permitted.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account where available. We may suspend or terminate access in line with law. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which NovelCast operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
If you are located in Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, or elsewhere, mandatory local laws may give you rights that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in these Terms limits those non-waivable rights.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance unless law requires separate consent.
